The RENEGADE combines both vintage and modern rock styling with the modern contours that Diamond has become known for. Taking a cue from its predecessor models, the ultra-thin RENEGADE incorporates our innovative shape and feel resulting in brute punch, tons of resonance and sheer wicked volume.

The RENEGADE FM Series follows a little more traditional configuration with Flame Maple tops and Seymour Duncan pickups. String-thru, ultra thin countours and dynamic figured tops, it's really tough to beat the FM Series.

Transparent Finish

Transparent finishes are among the most desired in guitars as they allow for both the unique color and the natural grain of the wood to show through. The darker grain provides a dynamic contrast to the lighter grains giving you a 3-Dimensional and unique look.

Matching Headstock

Body and headstock are finished in the same wood and/or color. Great accent that brightens the entire look of the guitar through a subtle, but fabulous accent. Great finishing touch.

Flame Maple Top

A favorite of guitar players, Flame Maple provides a stark "flame" contrast between the darker and lighter grains creating a sort of "zebra" effect in the wood. Accented with Transparent finishes, it's tough to make a prettier guitar. Like Quilt Maple, Flame Maple is added as much for its tonal properties as its vibrant appearance.

String-Thru

A classic design, and what is often considered the pinnacle of sustain, the String-Thru adds look and performance to your instrument. Our String Thru design with Tune-O-Matic bridge provides for amazing performance and feel, with string thru patterns enhancing the look of your guitar.

Seymour Duncan Pickups

Commonly considered the one of the premier pickup manufacturers in the world, Seymour Duncan pickups are a nice compliment to the line. Diamond a variety of Seymour Duncan's USA Custom pickups. Each guitar and pickup combination is specifically tested and the voicings are carefully chosen, producing a Custom Shop / Hot-rodded result.

Grover Tuners

Often considered the world's finest tuning machines, the Grover tuners are a triumph in engineering and style. The housing provides a maximum bearing for worm gear and string post and designed to eliminate backlash and slippage. Countersunk tension tension screw permits players to regulate turning tension to any degree. Gear box has a special lubricant for lifetime, trouble-free service.

Contoured Set Neck

Diamond's Contoured Set Neck method is arguably the most popular neck joint style amongst high-end electric guitars. The set neck is carefully cut to match its mounting point on the guitar body and the two sections are joined to maximize strength and minimize neck wiggle. Most notable is the amazing feel of the neck joint when you need it most - near the highest frets. Our contour feels fast, comfortable and as if the neck joint isn't even there.
